Troisième prestation américaine, et encore une grande satisfaction. La veille, nous avons participé à une jam session dans un bar de Brooklyn, le VOX POP. Ca ne fait pas de mal de jazzer de temps en temps. Comme toujours, le niveau des musiciens est supérieur.
Le PARKSIDE LOUNGE avait programmé le groupe du guitariste Simon Yu avant nous. Compositions et performance de très haut niveau, avec notamment Evan Marien (basse) et Jeffrey Villanueva (drums).
Notre set est
définitivement rodé, chaque musicien prenant de plus en plus de
risques. Antoine est juste déchainé derrière son drumkit. Le
nombreux public apprécie l’énergie sauvage déployée sur
scène.Il est assez vrai qu'on peut toucher quelqu'un avec n'importe
quelle musique, si on met ses tripes sur la table. Et croyez-le,
Soundchaser a mit ses tripes sur la table américaine - quitte à la
salir 
Pas le temps pour un rappel…Nous remballons le matos, faisons nos bagages, avec la ferme intention de renouveler l’expérience l’année prochaine. Cette ville et ses habitants sont tellement attachants!

Great last show at PARKSIDE LOUNGE. We played after Simon Yu’s band, featuring young virtuosos Evan Marien (bass) and Jeff Villanueva (drums). Superb compositions and playing – which seems to be a standard in NYC.
The eve of the concert, we jammed at the VOX POP in Brooklyn. Again, the musicianship was superior.
Our set is getting tighter, each musician takes more risks, and the interplay is more and more cohesive. Alex, after a hard work with the complex scores, is really at ease with the music – but is it a surprise ? He’s a true musician and a professional (hate that word,but well…)
The audience may have been shocked by the “aggressiveness” of our music, but the response was very enthusiastic. You can play any kind of music, and touch the audience, as long as you spill your guts out.
Now we only have one hope: to come back next year for another tour. This New York City is so engaging!
